   Precision Air of Trenton reported a theft of services on Dec. 11. A supervisor from the company went to a home on Thoreau Drive to repair a broken water heater. After 25 minutes, the homeowner requested the work stop and refused to pay the $98 service fee. The incident is under investigation.
   Gurpreet Channa, 22, of Lumberton was charged with DWI after he lost control of his vehicle last Tuesday night and drove off the roadway into a drainage ditch on eastbound Scudders Mill Road. He was also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane.
   A theft was reported from two vehicles parked at Princeton Forrestal Village on Wednesday. In one case, the front passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed, and a bible and bible cover were taken. The items were valued at $140, and the damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200. In the second case, the window of a 2003 GMC Envoy was smashed, and an Apple iPhone with charger, a GPS system, and a pair of Oakley sunglasses were stolen. The items were valued at $875, and damage to the window was estimated at $400.
   Rajan Virmani, 31, of North Brunswick was charged with DWI after a traffic stop Thursday night on northbound Route 1. Police observed his car failing to maintain a lane, not signaling lane changes, failing to keep to the right and driving with a tail light not functioning. After he was stopped, he was found to be intoxicated, police said.
   A theft was reported to a home on Hedgerow Drive on Dec. 9. The victim’s bedroom was entered and jewelry valued at over $10,000 was stolen. The case has been turned over to the detective bureau.
   A resident of Aspen Drive reported a case of identity theft that occurred on Sept. 29. An unknown actor opened a credit card in the victim’s name and used it to purchase $2,000 worth of flooring from a store in Cutler Bay, Fla. The case is under investigation.
