Students to bowl for children with cancer

High school students throughout New Jersey are invited to take part in the third annual Prodigal Foundation Inc. High School Masters Bowling Tournament benefit set for 12:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Woodbridge Bowling Center, 346 Main St. Proceeds from the event will aid children affected by cancer.

Students may raise their entry fees by seeking tax-deductible donations and using a sponsor-sheet form. Prizes, including an iPod, a prepaid cell phone and a portable CD player, will be awarded to participants with the highest amount of sponsorships.

George Yuhasz is president of the Prodigal Foundation. Event chairman is Tony Palombo, bowling coach at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, Iselin section of Woodbridge.
