LETTERS: Sen. Bill Baroni fighting COAH

I was glad to read in the Dec. 25 issue of the South Brunswick Post that we have one representative in Trenton, State Sen. Bill Baroni, that understands how detrimental COAH will be to our district, and specifically South Brunswick.
Mr. Baroni is trying to change the COAH warehouse-to-job-ratio formula that the governor’s administration has put forth. Mr. Baroni is attempting to change the formula to one that is reasonable. Mayor Frank Gambatese and Township Councilman Joe Camarota have been aggressively trying to do the same for some time. I congratulate them for their efforts. Hopefully our Assembly representatives will “wake up” and support Mr. Baroni in Trenton as well.
If the COAH formulas are left as is, we will have more out-flight of business from New Jersey and South Brunswick. This will further weaken the tax base in our township.
