Princeton Borough
   Andrew Phillip Stone, 24, of Jersey City, was arrested during a traffic stop on Pine Street at 10:32 p.m. on Jan. 17, police said. Police said Mr. Stone had an active contempt of court warrant out of Mercer County for failure to appear for an arraignment
   Sharon Ann Stark, 32, of Monroe, and Lauren Danielle Madden, 24, of Milltown, were both arrested on outstanding warrants during a traffic stop on Nassau Street at 1:03 a.m. Wednesday, police said. Ms. Stark had a total of $2,050 in warrants from East Brunswick, South River, Edison, and Woodbridge, and was kept in custody in default of bail, police said. Ms. Madden paid a single $5,000 warrant out of Milltown and was released, according to police, who discovered the warrants during a records check.
Princeton Township
   Seco Ceman, 36, of Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested for having two warrants out of Paterson totaling $270 following a traffic stop on Route 206 at 9:25 p.m. on Jan. 15, police said. Police stopped Mr. Ceman’s tractor-trailer for having a headlight out and discovered the warrants during a records check.
   Adam Goldstein, 39, of Rockaway, was arrested for having a $450 warrant out of Rockaway during a traffic stop on Route 206 at 8:23 a.m. on Jan. 17, police said. Police stopped the vehicle for an expired inspection sticker and discovered the warrant during a records check.
West Windsor
   Joanna James, 25, and Samantha Bradley, 21, both of Trenton, was were arrested for on shoplifting charges Friday evening. The women are accused of paying for only a few items at self-checkout in Wal-Mart while concealing $373 worth of merchandise and leaving the store, police said.
   Narvaya Dawkins, 28, of Eastampton, was arrested for shoplifting on shoplifting charges Friday evening at the Target in Nassau Park. She is accused of placing $52 worth of CDs and DVDs inside her purse and attempting to leave the store without paying for the items, police said.
   Alexander May, 23, of Cartwright Drive, faces drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday night on Canal Point at Heritage Boulevard. He received summonses for possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lane and failing to keep right.
   A West Windsor resident reported a theft from a vehicle on Sapphire Drive between 4 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The missing property was valued at $55.
   Kelly Baugher, 19, of Plainsboro, and Vladimir Kalik, 22, of East Windsor, were arrested for on charges of shoplifting Saturday evening from the Target in Nassau Park. They are accused of concealing $310 worth of video games on their person and attempting to leave the store, police said.
Montgomery
   Young Kim, 33, of Belle Mead, was charged with DWI after a traffic stop Jan. 20 on Symes Drive. Police said Mr. Kim was observed driving erratically, ignoring a stop sign and driving on the wrong side of the road. After Mr. Kim was stopped, he failed field sobriety tests, police said.
Plainsboro
   A 14-year-old Plainsboro resident was charged with two counts of aggravated assault after pouring hot water on two other juveniles, causing first- and second-degree burns to their faces and heads, police said. The incident occurred Jan. 19 on Tamarron Drive. Both victims sought medical attention ***
   A fire was reported to police early Monday morning after residents of Deer Creek Drive awoke to the smell of smoke in their apartment. On arrival, police discovered smoke coming from an exterior wall of the ground floor apartment. All eight apartments in the complex were evacuated while the Plainsboro Township Volunteer Fire Department put out the blaze, which was later determined to have been caused by carelessly discarded cigarettes in the mulch outside the apartment. The fire was contained quickly and caused minimal structural damage. Residents returned to the unaffected apartments, and no one was injured.
   A resident of Quail Ridge Drive reported a theft that occurred between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 1:45 p.m. Saturday. A skin care product, valued at $50, was stolen from outside the victim’s front door.
   A resident of Ravens Crest Drive reported a theft of a UPS package from the front of his residence that occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday. The package contained a $250 suit.
   Two juvenile residents of Fox Run Drive reported on Friday that someone had left harassing phone messages on their cellular phones.
   Soloman Mason, 19, of Ewing, was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop on Dey Road early Sunday morning. Mr. Mason was stopped for having an inoperable lamp, and field sobriety tests found him to be intoxicated, police said. He received traffic summonses for DWI, improper maintenance of lamps, having an uninsured vehicle, underage DWI and reckless driving.
   An 8-foot aluminum bicycle rack was reported stolen from BPG Management on College Road Friday afternoon. It was valued at $500.
   Scott Diaforli, 28, of Ravens Crest Drive, was issued summonses for harassment and defiant trespassing after begging patrons for money and cigarettes at Princeton Meadows Shopping Center on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
  Marcus Bellamy, 40, of Deer Creek Drive, and Steven Bellamy, 41, of Trenton, were charged with drug offenses in connection with a traffic stop Jan. 16 on Scudders Mill Road. Police stopped a black 1995 Nissan Maxima, driven by Marcus Bellamy, because a brake light was out. He gave police a fake name when asked for his driving credentials, police said. Further investigation revealed both men had active warrants for their arrest, and the vehicle contained marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said. Marcus Bellamy was charged with hindering, and both men were charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marcus Bellamy received summonses for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, having uninsured vehicle, having an unregistered vehicle, failure to exhibit a driver’s license, and improper maintenance of lamps. Both men were transported to Mercer County Adult Correction Center in default of bail.
   Kranthi Jamburi, 27, of Chicago, was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop Jan. 18 at the intersection of Route 1 and College Road. After failing field sobriety tests, Mr. Jamburi was charged with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and being an uninsured motorist, police said.
   Residents of Hawthorn Drive reported receiving harassing telephone calls just after midnight on Jan. 19.
   Alkesh Barodia, 43, of Aspen Drive, was arrested for DWI after a traffic stop Jan. 20 on Plainsboro Road. After he was stopped for speeding, police said, he failed field sobriety tests. He was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, speeding, shoulder driving, and failure to maintain lane.
   Theodore Smith, 70, of Princeton, was charged with DWI after a traffic stop Jan. 16 on College Road West. Police said Mr. Smith was pulled over for driving erratically, moving in and out of his lane and straddling the lanes for several seconds at a time. After he was determined to be intoxicated, police said, he was arrested and charged with DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
