PRINCETON: Recreation Basketball Results

PRINCETON U13 GIRLS 
   The Princeton U13 girls travel basketball team improved its record to 4-1 in the Central Jersey League on Saturday, with a 35-21 victory over East Brunswick. Liz Jacobs led the way with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Leah Moran added nine points and five assists, while Stephanie Hauer chipped in with eight points and three steals. Ellie Boulding controlled the boards with eight rebounds.
PRINCETON U12 BOYS 
   The Princeton U-12 Black needed overtime to edge Princeton U-12 Orange, 32-38 in North Brunswick League action on Saturday. Rob Mooney hit a three pointer for Black with three seconds remaining to tie the score and send the game to overtime. Marquis Henderson scored four of his nine points during the overtime period. Both Princeton teams ran their records to 3-3 in league play.
PRINCETON U13 BOYS 
   The Princeton U-13 Boys Travel team beat Monroe 38-37 on Friday night in Central Jersey League action. Langston Glaude scored 13 points and Robbie Vonderschmidt added 11 for the winners. On Saturday, they U13’s ran past West Windsor, 35-26.
PRINCETON U12 BOYS 
   The U-12 Orange team beat Westfield 39-29 behind 11 points from Kevin Kane.
PRINCETON U14 BOYS 
   The Princeton U-14 Boys Travel Basketball team split two games over the weekend. On Saturday, they defeated Manalapan 50-38. Marshall Borden scored 15 points while Nate File added 14 and Lior Levy chipped in with nine. On Sunday, Marlboro defeated the U-14 boys, 69-53. Levy and File led the team with 14 points each.
PRINCETON DILLON 
   Careolina Seto scored six points and Zoe Tesone added four as Senior Tennis Program topped Princeton Dental Group, 18-16, in overtime in the Girls 4th/5th Grade Division of the Princeton Recreation Dillon Youth Basketball League. Elizabeth Wright scored in overtime. Adria Backus had eight points in the loss.
   In the other game in the division, Hsinwei Yu scored eight points to lead Mason, Griffin & Pierson to a 16-2 win over Princeton Shopping Center. Trisha Reilly scored two points in the loss.
   Helen Eisenach scored 16 points and Louise Eisenach added 10 to lead McCaffrey’s to a 30-14 win over Princeton Township PBA #357 in the Girls 6th-9th Grade Division. Madison Luther had seven points and Emma Wingreen added four in the loss.
   In the other game in the division, American Sew/Vac topped Mack-Cali, 37-10, as Bryne Fahey scored 18 points. Arielle Thomas had three points in the loss.
   Malik Thompson scored 16 points to lead the Suns to a 24-23 win over the Lakers in the Boys 4th/5th Grade Division. Peter Reid had eight points and Teddy Martilla added six in the loss.
   In other games in the division, Colin Taylor scored nine points to lead the Kings to a 21-19 win over the Trailblazers. Harry Dyevich had nine points in the loss. The Warriors topped the Spurs, 30-18, as Michael Dowers led the scoring with 14 points. Alexander Roth had six points and Xavier Simonelli added five in the win. Isaac Rosenthal had seven points in the loss. Cole Snyder scored 12 points and Peter Kwitny added six as the Rockets topped the Clippers, 22-14. Matt Lambert and Sebastian Dowell had six points apiece in the loss. Andre Cole had 22 points and Brian Gurski added 13 in the Mavericks win over the Jazz. Owen Smith and Justin Harris had four points apiece in the loss.
   Aiden Bitterman and Jack Dyevich scored eight points apiece to lead Villanova to a 26-22 win over Notre Dame in the Boys 6th/7th Grade Division. Matt Donahue had six points in the win. Ben Segal had 11 points and Daniel Sturm added eight in the loss.
   In other games in the division, Alex Deutsch had nine points to lead Rutgers to a 29-12 win over St. John’s. Thad Moore and Brock DeHaven had six points apiece in the win, while William McGuirk had six in the loss. Connecticut topped West Virginia, 34-22, as Nicholas Wey scored 14 points and Oscar Vik added 12.Robert Mooney had eight points for West Virginia. Sabar Dasgupta and Elliot Dolan scored six points apiece as Seton Hall topped Georgetown, 26-23. Marquis Henderson and Anthony Teng had five points apiece in the loss. Syracuse topped Pittsburgh, 41-20, as Andrew Mitchell scored 11 points and Alex Levine added 10. Max Feldman had 12 points in the loss.
   Ryan Meier scored eight points and Peter Schulman added six as Woodwinds rallied to beat PGC, 27-23, in the Boys 8th/9th Grade Division. Tyler Nkadi had six points and Eric Vogt added five in the loss.
   In other games in the division, Baldino & Brothers topped Corner House, 42-29, as Oren Karsen scored 17 points and Marshall Borden added seven. Brendan Hunt scored seven points and Jordan Lerner added six in the loss. Dallas Mosner scored eight points and James Sanderson added six as Sotto Ristorante topped Princeton Pettoranello, 30-15. Javon Pannell had six points in the loss. Conte’s topped Princeton Borough PBA #130, 38-22, as Scott Bechler scored eight points. Daniel Shaughnessy and Ben Davis added six points apiece in the win. Jeremy Goldsmith scored seven points and Chris Ciccodicola added six in the loss.
