BORDENTOWN CITY
Angela Clark, 34, of Browns Mills, was charged Jan. 25 with driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and numerous related charges.
Police said she was stopped at 2:01 a.m. on Route 206 near Farnsworth Avenue after police saw her drive the wrong way across the one-way turn lane, swerve across three lanes after the merge with Route 130, and travel onto the grass median at 65 mph in a 40-mph zone.
Ms. Clark also was charged with being an unlicensed driver, speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. She was released to a friend.
A teenage boy was charged Jan. 19 with receiving stolen property. Police said a Fieldsboro resident let her dog out in the morning and noticed her Honda dirt bike was missing, and was able to track it through the snow to Bordentown City, where police apprehended him at 6:30 a.m. The vehicle was turned over to its owner and the boy was released to his parents.
FLORENCE
Joshua M. Morreale, 23, of Lawrenceville, was charged Sunday with possession of fewer than 50 grams of marijuana, speeding, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Police said they stopped him at 10:59 p.m. on Route 130 for speeding, and found suspected marijuana in the course of searching his vehicle. He was released on his own recognizance.
Erica Adams, 38, of Roebling, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical testing, reckless driving, and driving while suspended.
Police said Ms. Adams was exiting a parking spot in the lot of the Wawa on Broad Street at 5:54 p.m. when she backed into a police car. No injuries were reported. Police discovered she was intoxicated, and at police headquarters she refused to take a breath test, police said. She was released to her father.
Michale A. Evans, 26, of Florence, was charged Sunday on warrants from Beverly City and Seaside Heights. Police said they were investigating a disturbance call at 1:39 a.m. on West Third Street when they learned that one of the people involved in the disturbance had two active warrants for his arrest. Mr. Evans was turned over to Beverly police in lieu of $1,447 combined bail.
Robert J. Barney, 34, of Mount Holly, was charged Saturday with driving while suspended, and was also taken into custody on two Mount Holly warrants.
Police said they saw Mr. Barney driving at 9:20 p.m. at Route 130 and Seventh Avenue and knew of a warrant for his arrest. He was turned over to Mount Holly police on $2,500 bail.
Rowland J. Cooper, 44, of Trenton, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and driving with no headlights.
Police said they received a call of an erratic driver on Route 130 at 6:38 p.m. and arrived to find that an off-duty corrections officer had stopped Mr. Cooper. An open 40-ounce beer bottle was found in his vehicle, police reported. Mr. Cooper was released on his own recognizance .
Charles L. Stokes, 24, of Willingboro, was charged Jan. 28 with contempt of court. Police said they found him lying down on a bench at the Florence light rail station at 1:10 a.m. and stopped to check on him, as the temperature was below freezing and it was snowing. A check of his name revealed a $664 Burlington warrant, and he was turned over to Burlington Township Police in lieu of $664 bail.
Keith Maurice Anderson, 44, of Roebling, was charged Jan. 27 with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving with a taillight out. Police said they stopped him at 11:47 p.m. at Hornberger Avenue and Route 130 after noticing he had a taillight out and then seeing him drive erratically. Police said they smelled alcohol on Mr. Anderson’s breath, and that he failed field sobriety tests.
Police also found a $240 Cranbury warrant in Mr. Anderson’s name. He was released pending court action from Florence and on his own recognizance.
MANSFIELD
Brian R. Wilkes, 35, of West Trenton, was charged Sunday with theft of movable property. In the same incident, Arlee Toto, 27, of Columbus was charged with hindering apprehension.
Police said they responded to a report of a stolen purse at the Corner House Tavern on East Main Street in Columbus. After speaking with the victim and several witnesses, police said they were led to a residence in town where Mr. Wilkes and Ms. Toto were staying. Police said they determined that Mr. Wilkes stole the purse from the bar area and immediately returned home, and that Ms. Toto was aware of both the theft and the purse’s location in the residence, but failed to notify police of its whereabouts.
Ms. Toto was released pending a court date, and Mr. Wilkes was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $5,000 with no option to post 10 percent for release.
Kenneth C. Huebler, 45, of Browns Mills, was charged Jan. 28 with drunken driving, destruction of agricultural property, refusal to submit breath samples, and numerous related charges.
Police said they responded to the 2200 block of Old York Road at 4:04 p.m. for a property damage complaint, and arrived to find Mr. Huebler driving a pickup truck on the front lawn of a residence. Police reported they smelled alcohol on his breath while speaking to him, and that he failed field sobriety tests.
Mr. Huebler also was charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and other motor vehicle charges which policy did not specify. He was released to a friend.
Michelle D. McGrillies, 36, of Browns Mills, was charged Jan. 24 with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and operating a vehicle while using a cell phone.
