A Princeton Pike resident reported the theft of a bag of coins of undisclosed value from a bureau drawer in a bedroom between 9:29 a.m. Jan. 19 and 9:48 a.m. Feb. 2, police said. There were no signs of forced entry into the house.
Two Hamilton Township teenagers — 18-year-old Marissa M. Mantuano, of Knapp Avenue, and a 17-year-old girl — were charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking jewelry worth a combined $508 from Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 7:22 p.m. Jan. 30, police said. A store security guard saw the girls place the jewelry in their purses, police said.
Ms. Mantuano was released on a summons, and the 17-year-old was released to her mother’s custody.
A vandal punctured the side walls of two tires on a 1999 Toyota belonging to a Jackson Township resident while the victim was at work at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 10 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 29, police said. The tires were valued at a combined $130.
Carlos Orellana, 36, of Kent Street, in Trenton, was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking clothing and jewelry worth a combined $134.99 from Sears at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:05 p.m. Jan. 29, police said.
A store security guard saw Mr. Orellana pick up the jewelry and put it in his pocket and put on a pair of shoes and leave the store, police said. He was issued a summons and released.
