Scout helps the cause
Emmet Hassett joined sisters-in-law Ann Johnson and Julie Aberger in collecting winter coats to help him earn his Citizenship Merit Badge for Boy Scout Troop 44. Seventh-grader Emmet collected dozens of coats at Timberlane Middle School. He also helped deliver the coats to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), where they were distributed. The soup kitchen is feeding 600 people a day on average, as well as tutoring and teaching job skills. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Aberger are still collecting winter coats and clothing for TASK. Donations may be left on their porches.
