The Monmouth County Board of Freeholders has announced that the winter 2009 edition of the county newsletter is now online.
The newsletter updates residents on recent events in the county and directs readers to the county Web site, where they can find information on the many services Monmouth County offers its residents aswell as other important information. The Web site is www.visitmonmouth.com.
The winter 2009 edition of “Monmouth in Focus” highlights the county’s progress on the Strategic Plan, provides an update on efforts to promote shared services, offers information on how residents can recycle old computer and stereo components, and brings residents up to date on the county’s go-green initiative with regard to the new Greenhouse Gas Reduction Committee.
The newsletter, prepared by the county’s Department of Public Information, is a companion piece to the county’s television show, also called “Monmouth in Focus.” The show airs on local cable channels throughout the county and is entering its second season.
