Mrs. Breslin, 69, a lifelong resident of Freehold, died Jan. 24, 2009, at Bartley Healthcare in Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2001. Mrs. Breslin is survived by a daughter, Dayna Breslin Paterson and her husband, Kenneth, of Manalapan; a son, John and his wife, Christine, of Freehold; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Ada Lillian Patrick of Manalapan, Joan and Mike Iverson of Freehold, Doris and Donald Megill of Freehold, Erma Cornell of Hillsborough, and Hazel and Paul Vogel of National City, Calif.; three brothers and a sister in-law, Jack and Patty Ekdahl of Freehold, Paul Ekdahl of Freehold, and Wilson Ekdahl of Holiday, Fla.; and a granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold, followed by interment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
