Singer, 45, of Monmouth Junction, was charged with concealing merchandise at 4:44 p.m. Feb. 7 after a Macy’s loss prevention officer said she concealed an assortment of clothing and jewelry, worth a combined $365, inside a tote bag she was carrying, police said. She was released on a summons.
Tuncay Yilmaz, 34, of New Egypt, was charged with concealing merchandise at 6:20 p.m. Feb. 4 when a Lord & Taylor loss prevention officer said he selected clothing off the rack and removed the security sensors before putting the items — worth a combined $533 — in a Lord & Taylor shopping bag, police said. He also was accused of taking a pair of shoes, police said. He was released on a summons.
Willie R. Randall, 47, of Mercer Street in Trenton, was charged with concealing merchandise at 11:13 a.m. after an Acme grocery store loss prevention officer said he saw him putting items inside his jacket pockets and a black plastic shopping bag, police said. The items were valued at a combined $749.49. He was released on a summons.
A West Windsor Township resident told police someone scratched an obscenity into the paint on the driver’s door of her 2007 Volkswagen while it was parked at the Denny’s restaurant on Brunswick Pike between 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Dec. 3.
Someone stole the spare tire and wheel off the rear of a Hummer H2 while it was parked in the parking lot at 3131 Princeton Pike between 5 p.m. Jan. 30 and 5 p.m. Feb. 2, police said. The wheel and tire are valued at a combined $400.
A vandal damaged a concrete lawn ornament in the front yard of a Lawrence Road residence between 2:33 a.m. and 3:31 a.m. Feb. 1, police said. The vandal knocked over the lawn ornament, which was in the shape of a firefighter, and damaged the right arm of the figure. The ornament is valued at $500.
