Mr. Markowicz, 79, of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, died Feb. 3, 2009, at the Regency Heritage Care Center, Somerset. He is survived by a sister, Frances Vieira of Oceanside, N.Y.; and his five nieces; and six nephews. Arrangements were by M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction.
