Mrs. Clune, 79, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, died Jan. 29, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, New Brunswick. She was a retired employee at Exxon, where she was employed 12 years. Prior to that, she was instructional materials manager at Middletown Board of Education, for 13 years, retiring in 1998. She is survived by a son, James C. Clune of Florida; two daughters, Lynn Pope of North Carolina, and Maureen Heitmann of Florida; and six grandchildren. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
