BETWEEN THE LINES: From the Feb. 19 edition

   The Burlington County Library Bordentown Branch Youth Services Department offers a variety of programs. Registration is necessary for all programs. A Burlington County library card is required. Please note that registration begins two weeks prior to the date of the program.
   The address for the Bordentown Library is 18 East Union St., Bordentown. Registration can be done in person or by calling 609-298-0622. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
For children
   Wii for Teens — Get out of the house and get down to the library to play games on our Nintendo Wii. Come hang out and play games like Guitar Hero III, Dance Dance Revolution II, and Playground. The program will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.

   After School Craft — Get creative and crafty at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19. For kids ages 7-12.

   Baby Time — We welcome babies 12-15 months and their caregivers for stories, songs, music, finger plays and socialization activities at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20.

   Toddler Time — Bring your toddlers and join other mothers and caregivers for stories, songs, music, finger plays and socialization activities at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27. For toddlers 16 to 23 months.

   Chess Club — Come to the library for a “pick up” game of chess with your friends and neighbors on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 4:30 p.m. Bring your own chess set if you have one. For kids age 7 and older.
For adults
   Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong — By popular demand, the Bordentown Library will offer a weekend Tai Chi program from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 21. Tai Chi is an ancient martial art form that today is practiced widely for its health and relaxation benefits. Those in search of well being and a way to combat stress have made Tai Chi one of the most popular low-intensity workouts around the world. Qigong is an ancient Chinese system of postures, exercises, breathing techniques and meditation. Qigong is easy to learn and enjoyable to do.

   Genealogy Workshop — Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. If you are new to the world of genealogy and don’t know where to start, or if you are a seasoned researcher, join us for this informative evening. Each workshop will focus on a different genealogy topic.
