   Voting on Union Fire Company District 1 and Chesterfield Hose Company District 2 Fire Department Budgets will be held 2 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21. District 1 voting takes place at Union Fire Company on New Street in Crosswicks. District 2 voting takes place at the Chesterfield Hose Company on Bordentown-Chesterfield Road in Chesterfield.    Northern Burlington Instructional Athletic Association (NBIAA) Softball & Baseball Clinics/Practices for players registered to play in the Northern Burlington Baseball & Softball Leagues will be held Sunday, Feb. 22, and March 8, at the Northern Burlington County Regional High School Gymnasium. Babe Ruth & Major Boys: 12 – 1:30 p.m., Minor Boys: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., Rookie Boys: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Rookie & Minor Girls: 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Major & Senior Girls: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
   Clinics will include throwing, fielding, catching, pitching, batting & base running. All registered players, coaches, assistants and parents are welcome to attend the sessions. Hosted and conducted by the coaches of the participating members of the NBIAA. A $5 donation is requested for each session attended to support Northern Burlington Softball and Baseball and Post 26 Jr. Legion Baseball.

   Representatives of the Northern Burlington County Regional School District will be at the Thursday, Feb. 26, Chesterfield Township Committee Meeting concerning the referendum on solar panels that will be on the ballot at the upcoming school election.    The Chesterfield Township Free Rabies Shot Clinic will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Municipal Garage (located behind Municipal Building). Dog licenses will not be issued in the clerk’s office during the clinic this year. Please be advised that a dog license cannot be issued if the rabies shot expires during the current year. All dogs must be licensed by March 31, 2009. Please note: Changes in fees to $8 and $11. Late charges are assessed after this date. Puppies must be licensed after the age of six months.
   The township clerk issues dog licenses during normal working hours. A current rabies is required for the issuance of a dog license. If the rabies vaccination expires during the licensing year, it will not be accepted. Fees for dog licenses are as follows: Non-spayed/non-neutered $11, spayed/neutered, $8, late fee after March 31, $5 per month.
