Housing policies ‘only in NJ’

Jeff Ziemba, of Millstone Township
Only in New Jersey could black-robed, un-elected dictators, I mean judges, tyrannically find a constitutional right for citizens to have cheap housing at the expense of the tax-paying citizens, who somehow don’t have that same right.
Only in New Jersey would a state government use taxpayer money to pay farmers not to develop land, then force the township to develop land for a densely populated development nearby.
Only in New Jersey would the state government say they are pro-environment. then force a rural township to build water facilities and a sewerage plant for a COAH-mandated densely populated development — this despite the fact that the tax-paying residents don’t have those township-provided services.
Only in New Jersey would gang violence and drug activity proliferate in areas where there were never such activity and the state bureaucracy not be able to connect the dots to COAH.
Only in New Jersey would the un-elected judges who conceived of and the political hacks who administrate COAH receive six-figure pensions.
Only in New Jersey would the basic economic principal of “whatever you subsidize you get more of” be ignored by building even more low-income housing, consequently the proportion of low incomes will rise.
Only in New Jersey would the state continue these, un-voted-upon tyrannical policies, watch the educated middle class tax-paying base steadily move out, then not be able to figure out why the state is going broke.
