FLORENCE — A 75-year-old township man was listed in fair condition Tuesday after a school bus hit his bicycle Monday, police said.
Police did not name the man, but said he was hit at Delaware and Railroad avenues at 2:58 p.m. Monday. He was taken to Capital Health Systems Fuld Campus by Medi-Vac helicopter, according to a police report.
Hospital spokesman Don MacNeil said Tuesday the man was admitted in serious condition but later upgraded to fair.
There were several Florence Township School District students in the bus, police said, but none was injured.
The Florence Township Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the incident, and anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Brian Boldizar at 609-499-3131.
No charges had been filed Tuesday.
