EAST WINDSOR: Police Beat

   Edward Antonio Encalada Flores, 28, of New York City, was charged Feb. 22 with driving while intoxicated.
   Police said they saw Mr. Flores at about 3:05 a.m. unable to stay in one lane and failing to use a turn signal while traveling west on Dutch Neck Road near Route 130.
   He also was charged with DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to signal, improper turn, failure to maintain lane and being an unlicensed driver.

   Bing Lee, 83, of Monroe, was charged Monday with shoplifting.
   Police said Mr. Lee was seen leaving Shop Rite supermarket through the self check-out lane at 12:47 p.m. without ringing up $85.84 worth of groceries.

   Stefanie Camacho, 21, of Howell, was charged Tuesday with shoplifting.
   Police said Ms. Camacho was seen leaving Shop Rite at 10:44 p.m. without paying for $51.83 worth of groceries.

   The owner of a blue 2005 Honda accord reported that the vehicle’s paint was deeply scratched on the driver’s side between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Feb. 21 while it was parked on Jamestown Road. The owner estimated the damage at $400.

   The owner of a home on Pierce Road said four windows in the front of the home were smashed between 5 p.m. Feb. 21 and 2 a.m. Feb. 22. The owner estimated the damage at $800.
