BORDENTOWN CITY: Police Beat from the March 5 edition

   Adam Morton, 24, of Bordentown Township, was charged with two counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, two counts of theft, and one count each of possession of burglar tools and receiving stolen property, at 9:35 p.m. Feb. 25.
   Police said they had responded to a report of a suspicious man at the Chestnut Village Apartments on East Chestnut Street and found Mr. Morton burglarizing an apartment when they arrived.
   Police said Mr. Morton had property taken from apartment building 22 as well as property from other residences. Police said an investigation revealed he had also burglarized building 17 and had attempted to burglarize building 23.
   He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 full bail.

   Marco Diaz, 29, of Trenton, was charged with possession of false documents, having a fake inspection sticker and failure to make repairs, at 11:32 a.m. Feb. 26.
   Police said he was seen with an invalid inspection sticker on his car. Police suspected the sticker was fake and took him to police headquarters where it was verified to be fraudulent.
   He was released on his own recognizance.
