Patti DeSantis of Bordentown City
To the editor:
Please join me in voting for my daughter Heather Cheesman. Her decision to run for City Commissioner is no surprise to me. Her love and dedication to Bordentown City is everlasting. Born and raised in Bordentown City, Heather has proved time and time again her leadership abilities. From president of her graduating class at BRHS to president of the Student Government Association at Rowan College, Heather has always inspired those around her.
Heather loves to be involved; she is not someone who will sit on the sideline. Heather has always stepped up to the challenge and is normally chosen to lead the team.
Heather will not let you down if elected, that is something as her mother that I will promise you. When I speak to Heather about the city, she always speaks in a positive manner. Heather knows Bordentown City is a fantastic place to live; her suggestions will only improve this great place we call home.
Heather wants to give back to her community, three years ago when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, this community came to her with overwhelming support. She feels the best way to give back to the community is to become a city commissioner. Heather is a good listener, she listens to the citizens about their concerns, and I mean she really does listen. Heather will help to implement your ideas and work on your concerns.
Many of you may already know Heather, you may have worked alongside of her in one of her many volunteer projects. I’m sure you seen her working on the 325th Celebration a year ago. Please come out and Vote for Heather on May 12, you won’t be sorry.
