Waleed T. Hussam, 32, of Manalpan, was arrested Feb. 25 on two warrants, one from Jackson and one from Manalapan.
Police said they responded to a report of burglary and theft on West Millstream Road, where a resident reported two men in a black Ford pickup truck with North Carolina registration stole electrical cords.
Police said they later stopped Mr. Hussam around noon because his vehicle had temporary North Carolina registration, but the victim told police they had the wrong vehicle. He was released on $339 bail for the two warrants.
Phyllis A. Fox-Bayles, 48, of Cranbury, was arrested Friday on a Cranbury warrant. Police said they stopped her at 9:53 a.m. on Pinehurst Road after seeing her driving around the developments off of Hopkins Road. Ms. Fox-Bayles was lost and needed directions, which police gave, according to police.
A credential check revealed a Cranbury warrant, and police were able to later locate Ms. Fox-Bayles and stop her. She was arrested, and later released on $250 bail.
John L. Gilliland, 24, of New Egypt, was arrested Friday on a child-support warrant from the Ocean County Probation Department. Police said they were investigating a hit-and-run accident at 1:40 p.m. and discovered the warrant while speaking with Mr. Gilliland. He was unable to post $2,408 bail and was transferred to the custody of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, police said.
Joseph M. Schafer, 45, of New Egypt, was arrested Saturday on a North Hanover traffic warrant. Police said they took him into custody at 8:43 a.m. without incident. He was released on $250 bail.
