The Old City Hall Restoration Project is a group recently formed to fundraise and help pay for restorations to Bordentown City’s Old City Hall. This late 19th Century building is unique and historically significant. It is a classic example of a municipal complex that housed the entire town’s governing bodies in one building. City clerk, police and jail cells, court, and firehouse were all contained in this one building. The group would like to see OCH restored to its former beauty and glory. We hope to see it transition into the 21st century as a community space with multiple use rooms and possible museum. The next meeting is March 19 at City Hall on Farnsworth Avenue, 2nd floor at 7 p.m. For more information, contact [email protected].
