Longtime residents support Targonski

Connie and Ron Maxson of Bordentown City
To the editor:
We have been Bordentown City residents for almost 40 years and we are now deeply concerned about the future of our community. During these four decades we have thoroughly enjoyed living in our small town, but over the past several years we have noticed that the governmental process has grown less open. The communication between the City Commissioners and the citizens is currently non-existent. The people of Bordentown have come to expect their commissioners to be available and open to discussions even when points of view may differ. This is certainly not the case at present.
Because of our concerns for the future of the city, we are strongly supporting Zig Targonski for the City Commission. We have both known him for many years and he has served the community in the past as the Mayor and as a City Commissioner. Zig has all the right attributes for the job. He is honest, open and approachable. Zig has no hidden agenda or preconceived notions and is a tireless worker. He has always been dedicated, concerned and positive about the future of the city. There is no question in our minds that Zig Targonski, has in the past, and will again, be an outstanding City Commissioner.
