   West Amwell police reported:
   — Feb. 25 at 10:15 a.m. — Police began an investigation into a commercial burglary that totaled $68,000 in proceeds. Stephen Fiala, owner of Outdoor Décor, at 1405 Route 179, reported that between Feb. 19 and 25, persons entered his shop and stole two Kobota tractors, several zero-turn lawn mowers, one trailer and several machines associated with landscaping. Patrolman Dennis Kendig and the Hunterdon County prosecutor’s office Criminal Investigation Section are investigating.    — Feb. 25 at 12:55 p.m. — Steven Fiess, 25, of Flemington, was charged by Patrolman Edward Skillman with possession of suspected marijuana under 50 grams and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Mr. Fiess stopped to request directions from Patrolman Skillman on Alexauken Creek Road. A pipe was observed cupped in his hand. A packet of suspected marijuana was discovered in a pocket. He was processed and released on his own recognizance.
   — Feb. 25 at 7:45 a.m. — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Route 31 at Poplar Road. Kelley Downing-Martel, 47, of Ringoes, who was stopped on Poplar Road at the intersection of Route 31, did not see a vehicle traveling south. It was operated by Ellen Wolock, 50, of Flemington, who began pulling into the intersection resulting in a collision. No injuries were reported, Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene. No summonses were issued by investigating Patrolman Kendig.
   — Feb. 27 at 10:58 p.m. — Cynthia Armstrong, 52, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody by Patrolman Edward Skillman after a traffic stop on Route 29. Ms. Armstrong was stopped for failing to maintain lane control and having a defective license plate lamp. A computer check revealed a failure to appear warrant on a CDS-related charge out of Scotch Plains Municipal Court. She was processed, released after posting $335 cash bail and issued a summons for having a defective license plate light.
   — Feb. 27 at 11:15 p.m. — Lisa Alexander-Taylor, 47, of Marlton, has been charged with careless driving and driving while intoxicated. She was taken into custody by Patrolman Anthony Goccia Jr. while driving on Route 29. Patrolman Skillman, while returning to police headquarters, came up behind Ms. Alexander-Taylor, who was driving on a flat tire. He initiated a stop, determined she had been consuming alcoholic beverages and turned her over to Patrolman Goocia for further investigation. She was processed and released to a friend.
