Will be known simply as ‘Capital Health’

By Jason Stacchini
TRENTON, NJ. Al Maghazehe, CEO & President of Capital Health System, today unveiled a new logo and name for the healthcare organization.
“Over the past several years, Capital Health System has undergone an amazing transformation. Today, more than ever before, we can provide the people of our region with the world-class medical care they once had to a major city to find,” said Mr. Maghazehe.
“To recognize the enormous progress we have made in recent years, we are changing our name and our logo,” he continued. “From today forward, we will be known simply as ‘Capital Health.’   And our longtime, familiar logo is being retired in favor of a new, more progressive and dynamic image.”
According to Maghazehe, “Our new logo is a huge departure from our old one. Its bright colors convey optimism. The various geometric shapes convey a sense of connectedness among many different elements that make for a great health care institution. And it offers a sense of outward movement, from a bright center fanning out into the larger world.”
He further explained, “These design elements all convey the new reality that Capital Health is right there at the center of the health care needs of the greater Mercer County area. It says there’s no need to go anywhere else.”
“And to honor the contribution made by everyone at Capital Health to making us the regional leader in advanced health care, we are also rolling out a new tagline: “Minds Advancing Medicine,” Maghazehe announced. “Capital Health’s greatest strength is its people. They truly are an extraordinary collection of Minds Advancing Medicine.”
Maghazehe enumerated the numerous advanced health care services and innovations that Capital Health has pioneered in recent years, including the first and only Regional Trauma and Perinatal centers, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a specialized Pediatric Emergency Department, CyberKnife Center and daVinci robotic surgery system.
In addition, Capital Health recently opened the Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center of New Jersey. Headed by Dr. Erol Veznedaroglu, Dr. Kenneth M. Liebman and their team of specially trained nurses and clinical staff, the center uses Capital Health’s new state-of-the-art biplane angiographic system to treat victims of aneurysm, stroke and other life-threatening brain conditions with the very latest technology and techniques.
Capital Health’s nursing staff has been recognized by independent experts at the American Nurses Credentialing Center as one of America’s best. By twice earning the prestigious Magnet Recognition for Excellence in Nursing Service award, our nursing staff is among the top 2% nationwide.
“We are proud to provide world-class care right here in our community. Our combination of advanced technology, skilled physicians and nurses is producing continual advances in patient care. And with construction of our new, state-of-the-art hospital now underway in Hopewell and $45 million upgrade of the Fuld hospital, we look forward to bringing the very best to the people of the greater Mercer County region for many years to come,” Mr. Maghazehe concluded.
