2009-10 Spaces in ECLC are available

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — The Freehold Township School District’s Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC), 510 Stillwells Corner Road, is offering two half-day sessions during the 2009-10 school year for pre-school children qualifying as economically disadvantaged.

To be eligible, children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2009, documented by an original birth certificate, and the parent must present two proofs of residency. Pupils must have all immunizations, including four doses of DTaP, three doses of Polio, MMR, HIB vaccine, Pneumococcal, and one dose of Varicella vaccine or a history of chicken pox.A

current physical examination must also be reported on Form N107 and signed by the physician. An influenza vaccine is required to be administered between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009, (further information will be provided in September).

Any individual who is interested in having his child attend one of the halfday sessions may visit the school district’s website at www.freeholdtwp.k12.nj.us and follow the ECLC link to preschool registration in order to download an application packet, or call 732-866-6858, ext. 8700, to request a packet and make an appointment by March 31.
