Film series set at Prallsville Mills

The Delaware River Mill Society will begin its seventh year of the Prallsville Mills Evening Speakers Program with a film series of documentaries sponsored by The Girls Institute for Empowerment.
The 2009 film series of documentaries are intended to appeal to both parents and teens, helping to enlighten both age groups of the influences and impact of the mass media on today’s culture.
The evening program film series runs every second and fourth Wednesday through September from 7-8:30 p.m.
The Delaware River Mill Society and The Girls Institute for Empowerment hope to bring area families out to an evening program that will “get them talking about current issues in our culture and the mass media.”
All films are appropriate for family viewing. Admission is free to DRMS members; a $3 donation is suggested for nonmembers. Students are free. Refreshments will be served.
Dates for the film series include: March 25, and April 8 and 22.
Prallsville Mills is located in the D&R Canal State Park, Stockton. The March films will be held in the Prallsville Mills Carriage Shed. After March, films will be shown in the Prallsville Mills gristmill.
