HILLSBOROUGH: Police blotter

   Danelle Porrovecchio, 29, of Washington Commons, was charged with driving while intoxicated, using a wireless phone while driving and careless driving after police responded to the scene of an accident on South Triangle Road in which she had crossed over the center line and crashed head first into a parked car at 8:57 p.m. Feb. 18.
   Ms. Porrovecchio was taken into custody after she failed several field sobriety tests. At police headquarters, she was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.26 percent, police said.
   New Jersey law defines a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher as intoxicated.
   Ms. Porrovecchio was processed and released to the custody of a friend.
   Kurt Mondrone, 24, of William and Mary Commons, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession in a motor vehicle after he was pulled over on Auten Road for having a warrant from Manville at 5:57 p.m. March 2.
   Mr. Mondrone was taken into custody after police found a prescription bottle with his name on it and marijuana inside, police said.
   Mr. Mondrone was processed and released after he posted bail for the warrant.
   Edward Vantaggi, 19, of Bridgewater, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a CDS in a motor vehicle, and failure to maintain lane after he was pulled over for illegally crossing a lane on Route 206 at 10:03 p.m. March 7.
   Mr. Vantaggi was taken into custody after police found a bag of marijuana in his pants pocket, police said.
   Mr. Vantaggi was processed and released on his own recognizance.
   Eli Cruz-Gonzalez, 26, of Gemini Drive, was charged with hindering apprehension after he was pulled over for having items hanging from his rearview mirror on Gemini Drive at 12:09 p.m. Feb. 23.
   Mr. Cruz-Gonzalez was taken into custody after he provided a driver’s license issued in Mexico and Pennsylvania identification, both with a false name, police said.
   Police found Mr. Cruz-Gonzalez had previously been arrested for assault and deported Jan. 17.
   Mr. Cruz-Gonzalez was lodged in Somerset County Jail on a detainer from Immigration & Customs Enforcement, and will be deported at a later date.
   Scott Stankovich, 35, of Manville, was charged with lewdness after police found him reclining in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in the Hillsborough Promenade parking lot, on Route 206, at 9:03 p.m. March 6.
   Mr. Stankovich was taken into custody after he admitted to masturbating while having phone sex in his vehicle, police said.
   Mr. Stankovich was processed and released.
   Carlos Gerling, 55, of Three Bridges, was charged with resisting, driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, careless driving, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and failure to report a motor vehicle crash after police responded to the scene of an accident on Route 206, where Mr. Gerling had struck a guard rail at 11:34 p.m. March 11.
   Police found Mr. Gerling at Quick Chek, on Route 206, after which he became belligerent and had to be physically forced into a patrol car, police said.
   At police headquarters, Mr. Gerling allegedly failed several field sobriety tests.
   Mr. Gerling was processed and released to the custody of a friend. His court date is scheduled for 3 p.m. March 24.
   Craig Sullivan, 20, of Orchard Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer after he was pulled over for crossing over the double yellow line on South Branch Road at 12:38 a.m. March 3.
   Mr. Sullivan was taken into custody after he failed several field sobriety tests, police said.
   Mr. Sullivan was processed and released to the custody of his mother.
   Brandon Lipke, 25, of Victoria Court, was charged with driving while intoxicated, obstructed view, maintenance of lamps and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer after he was pulled over for drifting over the fog line on Amwell Road, having an air freshener hanging from the mirror and having a left brake light out at 2:07 a.m. March 4.
   Mr. Lipke was taken into custody after he failed several field sobriety tests, police said.
   Mr. Lipke was processed and released to the custody of a friend.
   Gary Prato II, 18, of Fosters Street, was charged with being under the influence of alcohol underage after he yelled profanities to a police officer at Quick Chek, on Route 206, at 12:27 a.m. March 8.
   Mr. Prato was taken into custody after he became belligerent and refused to give his name, police said.
   Mr. Prato was processed and released to the custody of a friend. His court date is scheduled for 3 p.m. March 24.
   Matthew Emery, 20, of New Hampshire, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lane and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle after he was pulled over for crossing over the fog line on Route 206 at 12:25 a.m. Feb. 20.
   Passenger Matthew Misiaswzek, 20, of New Hampshire, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
   Mr. Emery was taken into custody after police found raw marijuana between the passenger door and seat, as well as a bag of marijuana and two pipes in the glove compartment, police said.
   Mr. Misiaswzek was taken into custody after police allegedly found another pipe in his coat.
   Mr. Emery and Mr. Misiaswzek were processed and released on their own recognizance.
   Walter Jimenez, 40, of Capricorn Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated, no front license plate, failure to produce registration, unlicensed driver and uninsured vehicle after he was pulled over on Auten Road for not having a front license plate at 1:19 a.m. March 1.
   Mr. Jimenez was taken into custody after he failed several field sobriety tests. At police headquarters, he was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.18 percent, police said.
   Mr. Jimenez was processed and released to a friend.
   A Farm Road resident reported that someone stole her laptop computer from a desk in her bedroom sometime between 1:30 and 7 p.m. Feb. 22.
   The computer was valued at $1,090.
