Resident lost about $4,000 on March 4

Police are looking for a man resembling the person in the composite sketch below in connection with a March 4 burglary on Pennington Road in Hopewell Township.
The sketch was prepared by the New Jersey State Police. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective Michael Simonelli at 609-737-3100, ext. 523, or at the department’s tip line, 609-737-3100, ext. 517.
Township Lt. Lance Maloney said Patrolman Kevin Koveloski went to the Pennington Road residence to investigate a report of a burglary in progress March 4.
At 12:42 p.m., a resident returned home and saw a man run out of the house, get into a car and flee south on I-95. The man was described as Hispanic, 30- to 40-years-old, heavyset with scruffy facial hair and wearing a baseball hat, sweatshirt and sneakers.
The car the suspect drove was described as a dark-colored, late 1990s model Nissan Maxima or Altima with a Pennsylvania registration.
A brick was used to smash a window on a door, which then was unlocked. Items taken included coins, jewelry, a laptop computer, cameras and a video game system. The loss was estimated at $4,000.
