Wehrman supporter lists accomplishments

Vicki Gaudier of Bordentown City
To the editor:
As a permanent full-time resident of Bordentown City, I am writing to support John Wehrman’s for City Commissioner.
I first met Mr. Wehrman after calling the Police Dept to report a diesel fuel spill and potential fire hazard in front of my house at the intersection of Prince and Walnut streets. He was the first to arrive at the incident and observed the parked moving van that was leaking gooey, smelly diesel fuel over the roadway, between the grass from the curb and sidewalk and would soon be dripping into an adjacent storm drain. To add to the problem, diesel fuel fumes were permeating the air outdoors and into neighboring homes, as well as the Bordentown Post Office. On that day, Mr. Wehrman demonstrated he was capable and confident in his assessment and was able to abate a potentially hazardous situation.
Over the years, John continues to prove himself to be a person you can trust and rely on. He is passionate about the welfare and quality of the services he provides to all residents of Bordentown. He exemplifies the qualities and integrity that we all expect and deserve from our elected officials and town workers. Recently, his “can do” attitude was proven again while dealing with contractors and neighbors on the sewer line redevelopment project on Walnut Street.
As a volunteer member of the Bordentown Garden Club, he has always been willing to lend us his talents and time during the club’s annual spring planting day. He provides us a working space and his team helps to maintain the flowering hanging baskets that are displayed on Farnsworth Avenue which provides all of us a lovely Town to live, work, and play. Thank you John!
I hope you will join me in casting your ballots for John Wehrman on Election Day, Tuesday, May 12. He’s the right person at the right time for Bordentown.
