Buckalew seeks return to board

Keith Buckalew, of New Egypt
My name is Keith Buckalew and I am running for the Plumsted Township Board of Education.
I am a lifelong resident of New Egypt. I have been married for 32 years, have two grown children and six grandchildren.
I have served as a member and vice president of the Plumsted Township Board of Education from 1994 to 2002. During this time period I also served as a board member at Upper Freehold Regional Board of Education as a sending district. I am the proud recipient of the “Friend of Education Award” from the Plumsted Township School District.
Prior to accepting the position of supervisor of buildings and grounds at Millstone Township School District, I served as director of buildings and grounds at Plumsted Township School District.
I am a member of the New Egypt Elk’s Lodge #2457 and serve as the chairman of the Drug and Alcohol Committee.
During my years as a board member, I not only held the office of vice president but also chaired the various committees that make up the board. I feel that my previous board experience, as well as years serving and working within school districts, volunteer work and management background, will be an important asset to the Plumsted Township School District.
I am proud to announce that I am running with Jon Hauge and Chris Probasco. I feel that it is our responsibility to provide the best quality education for our children with the most fiscally responsible budget.
