   The Fernbrook Farms Education Center’s begins its campfire series on Saturday, March 28 beginning at 7 p.m. The evening is suitable for the entire family. On Sunday afternoon, March 29, the third Summer Camp Open House is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Families can tour the facility, meet the core staff of the camp and get a feel for the program. Summer Camp runs from July 6-31 and Aug. 10-Sept. 4. The final open house is scheduled for April 19.    The Chesterfield Township Elementary School Board of Education election for board members and 2009-2010 school budget will be held 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, at the Chesterfield Firehouse. A reminder to all new residents in the township, you must be a registered voter in order to vote in the April 21 election.    The Dorothea Dix Unitarian Universalist Community of Crosswicks presents singer/songwriters and Zoom Express/BMG recording artists Joseph and John DeMasi in concert 7 p.m., Sunday, April 5, at the Crosswicks United Methodist Church.    The Fernbrook Farms Education Center Spring Camp will be held April 13-17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children ages 6 to 11 will participate in tracking and birding activities. Additional activities include outdoor cooking, wilderness survival, orienteering, crafts, and a campfire. The cost for the week is $210 with additional charges for early drop off and late pick up.    The Kindergarten Registration for Chesterfield Township Elementary School is being held. If you are a resident of Chesterfield Township and have a child who will be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2009, please call the Chesterfield Township Elementary School to register for kindergarten.    The Chesterfield Township Public Education Fund’s Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner & Live Auction to be held Thursday, May 7, at Mercer Oaks in Princeton Junction. Go for the golf, dinner or both, and stay for the auction. This is the Chesterfield Township Education Fund’s only fundraiser. To date, the CPEF has expended over $200,000 to purchase items for the classrooms as well as fund activities and programs for the students. Please plan to attend this great annual tradition.
