Three parked cars were broken into outside their owners’ houses on Puritan Avenue between 9 a.m. March 18 and 11 a.m. March 22, according to police.
Someone broke the driver’s side rear window on two cars — a 1996 Nissan Altima and a 1994 BMW 525 sedan — and entered a 2000 Ford Mustang convertible by an unknown means, police said. There was no sign of forced entry into the Mustang, but the stereo radio was taken.
Someone tried to remove the radio from the Nissan Altima, causing $300 worth of damage to the car. The glovebox also was ransacked. Nothing was reported missing from the BMW, but damage to the car was estimated at $200, police said.
Munah Doekieh, 18, of Spring Street in Trenton, and Eugenia Swen, 20 of Rosemont Avenue in Trenton, were charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking clothing worth $167.84 from Sears at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 1:40 p.m. March 20, police said.
Ms. Swen also was charged with exhibiting false documentation and hindering apprehension for providing a fake New Jersey personal identification card and providing police with a false name, police said.
The women were released on summonses.
Someone stole money from the purses of three employees at Forever 21 at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 11:10 and 11:25 p.m. March 16, police said. The victims, whose purses had been placed in employee lockers, lost $40, $20 and $8, respectively, police said.
Someone stole 15 bottles of perfume, valued at $735, from a display table at the Victoria’s Secret store at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 7:50 and 8:30 p.m. March 18, police said.
