Thanks go out to Public Works

Arlene Marren Tobias, of Robbinsville
This letter of praise is long overdue. The citizens of Robbinsville Township are indeed lucky to have such a Public Works Department. It was that way when we bought our present home in February 1973 and continues under Dino, our current supervisor. The public works employees take care to maintain this department in a very efficient manner but more importantly, a friendly manner.
There was a very deep, dangerous rut at the corner of Combs and Line roads. I called Erin to report a repair was in order. Lo and behold it was taken care of in a short period of time. I call that great service.
During snowstorms the roads are plowed before daylight; snow fences are in place during the fall; roadways on public lands are kept neat with cutting the grass (or weeds!).
I don’t know the other duties for this fine crew but am sure all are carried out in a fine manner. The crew is friendly, courteous and kind. So hats off to this division of our township and a big thank you.
