Cynthia Schamper, 25, of Cranbury, was charged March 18 with driving while intoxicated. Police said an officer saw Ms. Schamper at 2:30 p.m. driving at a slow rate of speed and weaving in and out of her lane on Dutch Neck Road near Oak Creek road.
She also was charged with DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to keep right.
Jesus Martinez-Garcia, 31, of The Orchard, was charged March 18 with disorderly conduct.
Police said officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot near building 109 in The Orchard. Police said they found Mr. Martinez-Garcia to be intoxicated, and that he ripped off his shirt and necklace and quickly approached the officers with his arms flailing in a violent manner.
He also was charged with consuming alcohol in public and littering. He was taken to the Hightstown Police Department on $250 warrant from the Hightstown Municipal Court.
Matthew Balaban, 23, of Somerville, was charged Saturday with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Police said Mr. Balaban was riding in the front seat of a vehicle traveling north on Route 130 near Hickory Corner Road at 1:35 a.m. that was pulled over due to an obstructed rear license plate and articles hanging from the rearview mirror. Police said the officer saw numerous open beer cans in a box on the rear seat and found a pill bottle filled with marijuana and a smoking pipe in Mr. Balaban’s pockets.
He also was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Rohan Henry, 28, of Laurton, Fla., was charged Saturday with credit card fraud.
Police said officers responded at 8:55 p.m. to the CVS Pharmacy on Route 130 to investigate a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. Police said officers found Mr. Henry in the parking lot and determined that he had used a credit card belonging to another person to purchase several American Express gift cards, valued at $200.
Ronald Jones, 46, of Manchester, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. Police said an officer saw Mr. Jones at 4 a.m. traveling at a very slow rate of speed on the eastbound side of Route 33 near Twin Rivers Drive.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving and obstructed view.
Paris Young, 48, of Bennington Drive, was charged Sunday with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Police said officers saw Mr. Young sitting in a vehicle parked in a secluded area on Bennington Drive and detected the odor of burnt marijuana. Police said a search of the vehicle revealed lose marijuana on the driver’s side floor and in the vehicle’s ashtray, along with an open can of malt liquor under the front passenger seat.
He also was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and open alcohol in a public place.
A wallet with cash, three credit cards and two cellular telephones were reported stolen from a car parked in front of Gold’s Gym between 3:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the car’s keys were stolen from an unsecured locker inside the gym and used to gain entry to the vehicle. The estimated value of the items stolen was $250.
Two credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in front of Gold’s Gym between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. March 20. Police said the car’s keys were taken from an unsecured locker inside the gym and used to gain entry into the car. The keys were returned to the victim’s locker.
Jose Bravo, 26, and Alejandra Pauta, 24, both of Hampton Arms, were charged Tuesday with shoplifting. Police said Mr. Bravo and Ms. Pauta left the ShopRite at 6:35 p.m. with items concealed in their pockets and pocketbook, and carrying a bag that they did not pay for. The items were valued at $56.27.
