The committee voted unanimously Monday night to appoint Mr. Dafilou to complete the unexpired term of David Sandahl, who resigned March 9 after being appointed by Gov. Jon S. Corzine to the New Jersey Recovery and Accountability Task Force. The group oversees the state’s use of federal economic stimulus funds.
”I’m looking forward to serving on the committee. I know I have some big shoes to fill, replacing Mr. Sandahl,” said Mr. Dafilou after taking the oath of office.
Mr. Dafilou was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Abington, Pa. He graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and engineering (1988) and a master’s degree in finance (1993).
