Preschoolers at Luther Memorial Preschool in Tinton Falls collected pajamas and books during the month of February to benefit the Pajama Program in Middletown. Their parents were invited to choose a heart from the giving board and then the family shopped together for a child who was similar in age.
The numerous items collected will be donated. The children are now collecting money to benefit the Heifer Organization. The goal is to raise $500 to purchase a cow for a family in need with the motto “Send a Cow Now!” The projects help teach the children that their actions can have a positive impact on society.
