   NBC High School will perform its spring musical, “Footloose,” on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 2, 3, and 4 at 7:30 p.m. Once again the performances will be in the North Hanover Upper Elementary School Auditorium, 46 Schoolhouse Road. Tickets are available online at www.seatyourself.biz/nburlington. They can also be purchased at the door. Come join the fun.

   Tickets are hot and there are only a few left until the NBC Band Boosters hold their 2nd Annual Luncheon and Gift Auction on Sunday, April 5 at Charley’s Other Brother, Route 537, Eastampton. Tickets will be $25 each and include a buffet lunch and one sheet of raffle tickets. All are welcome and a great time was had by all last year. Don’t miss out on all the fun.

   Springfield Elementary will do spring portraits on Monday, April 6, during the school day. Photo packages will be sent home at a later time, and you may decide if you would like to purchase these photos at that time. No commitment or purchase is required.

   The Burlington County Library Bookmobile will be at the Springfield Municipal Building on Thursday, April 9 and 23, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Come out and take advantage of this wonderful resource. It has many books and videos available and it’s very convenient. Also the staff is very wonderful and knowledgeable. My kids are very addicted to it now.    The Springfield Recreation Committee is looking for new members interested in assisting with the youth sports program in our town. The committee meets every second Thursday of the month at 8 p.m. For more information, please call 723-2464.

   Do you like working with children? Springfield Elementary School is now hiring substitute teachers, educational assistants, cafeteria, playground aides, bus aides, nurses, and custodians. The need is great for these positions. The rate of pay for a substitute nurse and teacher have been raised recently. Please contact the school for more information at 723-2479.
