Mr. Mackintosh, 96, of Holmdel, died March 17, 2009, at Bayshore Hospital. Holmdel. He had resided in the Wayside section of Ocean Township for 30 years before relocating to Holmdel six years ago. Mr. Mackintosh was a sales manager at Weissglass Gold Seal Dairy, Staten Island, N.Y., for 35 years, retiring in 1975. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Ella Mary Downs Mackintosh, in 1998. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Burton and Jayne Mackintosh of Middletown, and William and Arlene Mackintosh of Old Bridge; a daughter, Virginia Comfort of Staten Island; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Burial was at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Staten Island. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
