Lauren Clarke and Brooke Hampton, Colts Neck High School’s fearless backcourt tandem, top the Shore Basketball Coaches All-Division A North Team.
This winter Clarke and Hampton teamed up to lead the Cougars to their first state title (Group IV) and their first trip to the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions final.
Joining them on the A North First Team are Marlboro’s Meghan Reilly, Freehold Township’s Christina Barthel and Middletown South’s Danielle Pankey.
Sara Olsen of Howell heads up the Second Team that includes Colts Neck’s Tiffany DeTullio, Freehold Township’s Stephanie Cardamone, Middletown South’s Meghan McGuinness and Middletown North’s Shannon Norton.
St. John Vianney’s Katelyn Linney and her teammates Michaela Mabrey and Missy Repoli lead the A Central First Team. The trio led the Lancers to the Tournament of Champions crown.
Kate Miller, the Kerwin Award winner, who carried Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School to another state title (Group II) and Raritan’s Alex Ryan complete the A Central First Team.
Second Team A Central honors went to Shore Regional’s Liz West, Rumsson’s Ashley Cooper, Holmdel’s Amanda Diekman, Raritan’s Loreta Tonuzi and Red Bank Catholic’s Cynna Golden.
Jackson Memorial High School’s Christa Evans and Dana Costello, Southern Regional’s Kristen Sharkey and Avery Hodgeson and Toms River North’s Sam Heck make up the A South First Team.
Second Team A South selections were Brick’s Vicky Detata, Brick Memorial’s Kathryn Lamastra, Jackson Memorial’s Caitlyn Testa, Lacey’s Jami Snyder and Southern Regional’s Alex Spark.
Freehold’s high-scoring Shannon Mayrose heads up the B North First Team. Syessence Davis and Shakena Davis, who were the cornerstones of Neptune’s Shore Conference Tournament championship team, Wall’s Kathryn Campbell and Ocean Township’s Jennah Fisher complete the first team picks.
BNorth Second Team selections were Ocean Township’s Andrea Farrow and Marlena Klein, Monmouth Regional’s Jessica Ford and Neptune’s Sehmonyah Allen and Marlie Mauvis.
Mater Dei’s Danielle Loccicero, St. Rose’s Samantha Clark and Allison Sweeney, Keansburg’s Faith Flannery and Point Pleasant Beach’s Laure Romao are the B Central First Team players.
Keyport’s Devinn Bright, Point Pleasant Beach’s Madison Gourly and Keansburg’s Kerian Cassarello and Danielle Ehrhard complete the B North Second Team.
Lakewood’s Asia Taylor heads the B South First Team with Alyssa Mayo of Central Regional, Point Pleasant Boro’s Becky Metzger, Manchester’s Camille Valmon and Gabrielle Valmon and Barnegat’s Catherine Keough.
Second Team B South picks were Jackson Liberty High School’s Kelsie Goelz and Sam Savona, Monsignor Donovan’s Ro Retirado, Point Pleasant Boro’s Kelsie Haycock and Manchester’s Ariele Parrish.
