The Sayreville Bomber golf outing, sponsored by the Football Touchdown Club and the Baseball Booster Club, will be held April 18 at the Bunker Hill Golf Course in Princeton. Beginning at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start, the day will include hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages on the course, and dinner immediately following at Bunker Hill, as well as raffles and 50/50. Prizes will be awarded for closest to pin, longest drive and best score. Price is $125 for an individual or $460 for a foursome. Sponsorships are available. A 5K Race and a 1-Mile Fun Run will be held in Spotswood May 2. The one-mile event is set for 8:30 a.m. The 5K will start at 9 a.m. Registration is $10 for youngsters ages 12 and under, $15 for individuals ages 13 and up. Race day registration will be 7- 8:15 a.m. T-shirts will go to all advanced registered runners and while they last on race day. Raritan Bay Cougars’ registration for the 2009 football and cheerleading season will continue on April 10-11, May 15-16, June 12-13 and, for new participants only, on July 10-11. Registration is at Madison Park Little League Field House, behind the firehouse, on Cheesequake Road in Old Bridge.
