Brimmer lauded

Ron Firman of Bordentown City
To the editor:
Having lived in Bordentown City for two years, this May will be my first opportunity to vote for City Commissioners. My observations are as follows – the two incumbents have served long enough and seem unable to implement new ideas. Another candidate has already served as mayor – I do not think our city needs another recycled politician.
Of the new faces on the political scene, I support Jim Brimmer. Mr. Brimmer possesses the leadership and organizational skills to be an effective Commissioner. As an officer of the 325th Anniversary Committee, Jim ran the art auction, a highly enjoyable and successful fundraiser. Jim is a committed individual concerned with the quality of life of all citizens. Chairman of the Concerned Citizens of Bordentown (CCOB) Committee and a regular attendee of Commission meetings, Mr. Brimmer knows the issues facing Bordentown City. For several years, Jim has participated in and enhanced the mentoring program in the Bordentown schools, an activity praised by teachers, school administrators and parents.
I have known Jim for 30 years and am confident that he will be an accessible “hands-on” Commissioner. Put Jim Brimmer to work for us on Tuesday, May 12. Make sure to pull lever number eight.
