A township woman reported several acts of criminal mischief March 30.
The woman told police that between March 7 and March 30 someone broke the windshields on two of her vehicles, as well as the windows of two bedrooms and the back door.
A Toms River man reported hit-and-run damage to his car March 31 in the parking lot of Anthony’s Pizza on Jacobstown Road. At 5:20 p.m., the man said he came out to find green paint marks on the rear passenger side of his vehicle which had not been there in the morning.
Allison Scholl, of New Egypt, was charged March 30 with careless driving.
Police said she was traveling west on Route 528 when she ran off the road onto the shoulder, re-entered the road, crossed the double yellow center line, skidded into oncoming traffic and hit a mailbox. No injuries were reported.
