Paul E. Prodromo, MD, of Kendall Park
With less than two weeks to go before the South Brunswick school board elections, we need to see what has been accomplished before deciding for whom to vote.
It is clear that progress has been made. The school system is in better shape than it was five years ago. Decisions are made in a rational manner. Appointments are considered on merit. Problems are not swept under the rug. Academic achievement continues to improve, and even sports teams are beginning to show winning records.
Despite financial constraints, we see that the school board continues oversight of the administration of the school system. An experienced board member can press the administration to make sure that the interests of children come first.
Barry Nathanson has been active in town for over 15 years. He has served as a coach and as a board member of the PAL. I have served with him on the School Board, on the zoning board, as well as on the Planning Board. He is not afraid of confronting difficult issues or dealing with the administration of the school system when it comes to what’s best for children.
I ask you to join me in supporting Barry Nathanson for the school board.
