UPPER FREEHOLD: Two incumbents file for primary

by Vic Monaco, Managing Editor
UPPER FREEHOLD — Stephen Alexander and Robert Faber have decided to seek re-election to the Township Committee and likely will run uncontested in the spring primary.
Both Republicans were the only people to file nominating petitions by Monday’s deadline.
There are two, three-year terms up for grabs.
Mr. Faber, 72, of Cream Ridge, said he is seeking his second term with a continued top priority of farmland preservation.
Mayor Alexander could not be reached for comment before The Messenger-Press deadline.
