Manville High School Parent Teacher Student Association is sponsoring a flea market from 9 a.m. –2 p.m. April 25 (rain date May 2) in the high school gym parking lot. Spaces (measuring 10 feet by 15 feet ) $15 each, and you must supply your own table. To get a reservation form, please go to www.manvillesd.org and click on high school. Fill out the reservation form and return it to MHS PTSA with payment.

The flea market will be held the same day as the Manville Education Association scholarship clothing drive — help support two worthy organizations at the same time.
The Camplain Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2 is offering tickets for their 15th annual fundraising bus trips to two NASCAR Sprint Cup races. The trips will include a one-day trip to Dover Downs on May 31st and Pocono Raceway on Aug. 2. The trips include round-trip bus transportation from Manville, race ticket(s), food and beverages. All proceeds from the trips will benefit the Camplain Volunteer Fire Company building and equipment fund. The 4-H Fair Entertainment Committee is seeking performers for the 4-H Fair, scheduled for Aug. 12, 13 and 14 at the Somerset County 4-H Fairgrounds at the North Branch Park in Bridgewater. The search is on for a variety of bands, musicians and vocal talent. Looking ahead
On April 25, Manville High School will be collecting donations of clean, usable, used clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens (sheets, towels, spreads, drapes, etc.), stuffed animals, and baby “gear” (such as high chairs, play yards, strollers, walkers, bouncers, car seats) which will be shipped to Europe in a fundraiser for scholarships for Manville High School seniors. Manville High School Class of 1979 has begun planning for the 30th class reunion on Oct. 24. Organizers are in the process of trying to locate and contact all class members.
