Theresa Herrera, 50, of Twin Rivers Drive, was charged April 1 with making a false report to police.
Police said Ms. Herrera reported her vehicle had been stolen after learning that it had been in a one-car crash in Elizabeth. Police said their investigation found that Ms. Herrera had actually lent the vehicle to the person who was driving it when the accident happened.
Dushyant Patel, 27, of Princeton Arms West, was charged April 2 with driving while intoxicated.
Police said an officer saw Mr. Patel at 2:10 a.m. speeding and weaving on the northbound side of Route 130 near Hickory Corner Road.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
Justin Kaplan, 26, of Twin Rivers Drive North, was charged April 2 with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Police said an officer stopped a vehicle on Twin Rivers Drive North for having inoperable rear lights and found Mr. Kaplan sitting in the front passenger seat, attempting to conceal his right hand behind his leg. Police said they found that he was holding loose marijuana in his hand. Police said they also found loose marijuana on the passenger’s-side floor.
Tony Thompson Jr., 31, of Teal Court, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated.
Police said officers saw Mr. Thompson at 1:30 a.m. speeding on the southbound side of Route 130 near Town Center Road.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to stay right on a highway and speeding.
Juan Puma, 23, of Morrisville, Pa., was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated.
Police said officers saw Mr. Puma at 1:15 a.m. making a right on red without stopping at the intersection of Mercer Street and the Hickory Corner Road extension.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, improper turn on red, unsafe lane change and speeding.
A Yorkshire Drive resident reported more than $1,500 in cash was stolen from their home between 6:30 p.m. April 2 and 10:30 p.m. April 4. Police said there was no sign of forced entry.
Police said they responded to a complaint of a peeping Tom peering through the window of a home on Bennington Drive at several young females at 10:45 p.m. April 3. The suspect was described as being an Hispanic male, in his late 20s or early 30s, with a medium height and build.
