The Third Annual Dragon Boat Festival Paddle for Pink is being presented by The Machestic Dragons on Sunday June 7, 2009 at Mercer County Lake Marina, West Windsor , NJ. New Jersey’s first breast cancer survivors dragon boat team runs this exciting event to benefit The Breast Cancer Resource Center, YWCA, Princeton NJ. Sports and fun lovers are invited to paddle to raise money for this worthy cause and raise awareness of breast cancer. This community event offers not only dragon boat races but entertainment by DJ John, The Hoh Deiko Drummers, dancers, vocalists, raffle drawings, door prizes, ceremony’s, food, and dragon boat rides for children. Additional attractions will be announed closer to June 7.
Volunteers and sponsors are welcome, Machestic President Terry Coleman expects forty teams to comptete this year and there is still time to join in the exciting energy of the festival. Form a team (entry fee $600) and get 2 practices and day of racing.
