Destination: Journey of a Lifetime
Community Christian Choir Announces Spring Concerts
Going somewhere?  Prepared for the trip? Need a map? That’s the questions put forth by the Community Christian Choir in their spring concert program titled “Destination: Journey of a Lifetime”. The Community Christian Choir begins their 29th concert season on April 26th, 6 pm at the Robbinsville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Rt. 33, Robbinsville, NJ.  As with all their concerts, this concert will be free of charge to the public with a free-will offering collected to benefit The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.
“This is a special season of music for our choir,” said Pat Weitz, director.  “We have ‘mapped’ out a program that gives the message of the season as well as directions for life.  We include music from Point of Grace and other wonderful Christian music artists. We know the message and the music will be uplifting and encouraging to everyone struggling on the path of life.”
The Community Christian Choir is a non-denominational choir made up of over 130 singers from over 50 congregations in the central Jersey region, ages 5 to Adult.  All concerts by the CCC and its children’s division (Community Christian Children’s Choir/CCCC) are benefit concerts with over $130,000 having been raised for local charities.
Additional concerts will be held on May 3rd at 7:00 pm at Jackson Baptist Church (360 Bennett’s Mill Road, Jackson, NJ to benefit Hands of Hope) and on May 8th at 7:30 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ) to benefit Bordentown Summer Youth Program BSYP.
