NORTHFIELD BANK FOUNDATION ELECTS JOHN J. DEPIERRO TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND NAMES DIANE SENERCHIA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
STATEN ISLAND, NY, April 13, 2009 – The Northfield Bank Foundation announced that John J. DePierro has been elected to the Board of Directors and that Diane Senerchia has been named Executive Director.
John J. DePierro Named to Board of Directors
John J. DePierro is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Sisters of Charity Health Care and is currently a Health Care Consultant. Mr. DePierro has served as a Board Member for the Seton Foundation for Learning, Mount Manresa Retreat House, the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Northfield Bancorp, Inc.
Mr. DePierro has been honored for his community service by the NY State Catholic Conference Health Care Council, the Salvation Army, the Assumption Council Knights of Columbus, the Staten Island AIDS Task Force and the Seton Foundation
Diane Senerchia Named Executive Director
Diane Senerchia joined the Northfield Bank Foundation in 2008 as Program Director. Ms. Senerchia is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and her duties include overseeing and monitoring the grant application and review process, communicating with local non-profit organizations and participating in various community events.
Prior to joining the Northfield Bank Foundation, Ms. Senerchia spent 22 years on Wall Street in the Municipal Bond Industry. Ms. Senerchia is a native Staten Island who has far-reaching ties to the community.
